We’re Re-branding!

We’re On Our Way! And this is just the beginning… Back in 2006, when Tara was in the early stages of developing Longeva’s flagship product, the Omni Facial Moisturizer, she mostly focused on women. After all, they are the driving force behind beauty and cosmetics. As a business, Longeva started by sharing its revolutionary products with women around Silicon Valley. Soon, Tara was hearing from friends and new customers raving about the improvements they saw in their wrinkles, sun damage and parched skin. The results were quick and effective using just one facial cleanser and one moisturizer.  These women said they were throwing away many of their beloved products, even their expensive, luxury brands.
Soon, more friends, and friends of friends told Tara that Longeva had cleared acne, psoriasis and even baby eczema. It wasn’t just women of a certain age who embraced Longeva, but men and young women, too. Tara slowly expanded her business and launched softly in 2013. In August, she accepted an opportunity to showcase Longeva in the DPA pre-Emmy Awards gifting suite where celebrities could stop by for goodies. We were sure we would hear mostly from women, given our feminine packaging and presentation. Boy, were we wrong–pun intended! The men came running! In fact, actors like Nico Tortorella of The Following and Riley Smith of True Blood took the time to personally rave about our products on social media and asked us where they could get more. We quickly realized that we were limiting Longeva’s appeal with our ultra-feminite packaging and presentation. It didn’t stop the orders from flooding in after the Emmys, but it made us think: Should we rebrand and repackage Longeva so that it’s more aligned to our modern sensibilities and that our mission and philosophy is crystal clear? Simply put, yes. But we weren’t about to simply trash the packaging we already had in stock. That’s not only wasteful, but the opposite of our mandate to take care of the Earth, use only natural ingredients and leave fewer footprints around us. So stay with us as we evolve. Longeva’s beloved formulas will remain the same, but the bottles and packaging will undergo a makeover. With that said, we ask for your help!
